At ARE Labs, we proudly offer sophisticated Large Chamber Bioaerosol Testing Services, a cornerstone of our advanced testing capabilities. Our facility boasts three large aerosol chambers, each meticulously designed as primary or secondary containment systems to ensure the utmost safety and precision in bioaerosol testing. These sealed, HEPA-filtered chambers are equipped with fully customizable room turnover rates, accommodating a diverse range of biological and chemical aerosol programs.
Primary and Secondary Containment: Our chambers function as primary containment for direct aerosol testing and can be configured as secondary containment for handling hazardous aerosols, ensuring enhanced safety and control.
Fully-Equipped for Comprehensive Testing: Each chamber is outfitted with wet and dry powder aerosol generators, impinger and filter samplers, and real-time monitoring of particle size and concentration. Additionally, temperature and humidity controls, a fully configurable turnover rate, and a hydrogen peroxide decontamination system ensure a controlled and safe testing environment.
Room Air Purifier and HVAC System Testing: Assessing air purification and HVAC systems for efficacy in bioaerosol mitigation.
Contact Testing: Evaluating the interaction and survival of bioaerosols on various surfaces and materials.
Aerosol Production Analysis: Studying aerosol generation from devices and medical procedures.
Breathing Simulation and PPE Testing: Simulating human respiratory conditions for bioaerosol studies and testing the efficacy of Personal Protective Equipment.
Microorganism Detector Challenges: Rigorously testing the accuracy and reliability of microorganism detection systems.
16m3 and 30m3 Chamber Options: Our two stainless steel 16m3 (10' X 10' X 8') chambers are versatile for a range of tests, including HVAC systems and room air purifiers. The larger 30m3 chamber adheres to AHAM AC-5 guidelines and meets both ASHRAE 185.3 and ASHRAE 241 criteria, perfect for extensive and rigorous bioaerosol testing.
The use of our advanced test chambers allows for the controlled introduction, sampling, and secure confinement of microorganisms. This contributes significantly to the precision and reproducibility of our testing outcomes, ensuring reliable and accurate results for our clients.
